Tried warung bu kris. Place were ok and it’s the same row with sushi matsu. Luckily when we arrived there were no queue. Usually the place packed with people waiting to get their table. The queue starting to get quite packed when we finished our food people were waiting. I guess the food were ok. Tried their grilled chicken and kind like gado gado. But worth a try if you like indonesian cuisine.

Absolutely delicious east javanese cuisine. The Nasi Rawon Empal is one of the best Nasi Rawon in Greater Jakarta Area. You can also try ayam penyet or iga penyet, they are both also tasty; and the price are very reasonable

Bu Kris is typically javanese food restaurants. Serve many variations of penyetan (penyetan is the mix between fried food such as chicken, prawn, eggs then mashed them with sambal or chili paste). People usually order their meatball penyet. This place is clean, I can tell that they fried the food with a good oil, since my throat is fine after consume their penyetan. But it a little bit pricey compared with the same restaurant that serves the same dishes. After all, I keep coming back here.

Highly recommended place for Suroboyo-style "penyetan" food, such as empal penyet, ayam penyet, etc. You can get various spiciness level. It gets busy during weekend. Btw, they are close on Mondays.

Tradional Food origin from Surabaya, always crowd in lunch and dinner time, their signature is called “Empal suwir with Bakwan penyet” (i dont think I can translate in english).The restaurants is clean and the food is very tasty with affordable price. But be mind of the spicy level of Sambal

Warung Bu Kris is my favorite warung penyet. Their ribs, chicken, stomach, lungs, bakso, empal, and even their pecel, gado-gado, and lontong cap gomeh is very delicious. The price is cheap too if you compare with other places.

I've eaten here since 2012 and I still like it, it's still very crowded especially at lunch time, so many people coming and now filled with online orders as well, I usually call to order, and then pick up the food because they don't have delivery service.If you're planning to go here, don't forget to bring Rupiah cash with you because they only accept cash payments

This restaurant is our favorite place to eat spicy food. My favourite menu is iga penyet super pedas, and my husband’s are ayam penyet and tahu tempe ulet-ulet. Sometimes if I want to eat more vegetables I will order urap sayur. You also can find another Jawa Timur menu here, such as rawon, nasi krawu, gado2 etc. Don’t be surprise if you have to wait to get some seat at lunch hour. Because the restaurant is not to big, but have alot of fans. One more important info, you only able to pay cash here..

If you missed old fashioned cuisine from East Jawa, this would be the ideal place to dine-in with your family and friends. They serve the best rawon and empal meat with great hot tea. Their crackers are also tasty!

A great Indonesian food restaurant. This place serves many awesome delicacies. My personal favorite menu 100% goes to the Paket Penyet. Affordable, delicious, sanitary. Also, you need to give their drinks a try. They have many drink combinations that are refreshing, and tasty. Though i must say, the place is pretty small. If you're planning on going here in meal hours, get ready cause there might be a line!
